Nanyang Technological University
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) was established on
1 July 1991. It is designed to meet the manpower needs of
the nation and the region. Degrees awarded by NTU are recognised
by the relevant professional institutions both locally and
internationally.
NTU aims at becoming a university with general academic
excellence and niches of international eminence. Its mission
is to train leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs for Singapore
and the region, and to advance research and development in
both the academic and professional disciplines.
The University is organised into Schools each headed by a
Dean. Each School is further divided into Divisions. NTU has
ten Schools comprising:

The last four Schools are part of the National Institute
of Education (NIE), where courses on teacher education, arts

Singapore Management University
The Singapore Management University (SMU) is partnered with
one of America's best business schools, the Wharton School
of the University of Pennsylvania. This inspired collaboration
aims to build a world class university for creative entrepreneurs
and visionary business leaders. SMU has signed a five-year
joint agreement with Wharton to create a unique learning and
research environment. Diverse and challenging programmes will
equip, enrich and hone the skills, knowledge and experience
of the men and women who will be capable of leading in a rapidly
changing and dynamic world.
