The study of Physics equips students with in depth knowledge of the
physical sciences and allows students to develop analytical attributes
that are in demand in a wide range of career pathways. Students also
have opportunities to combine the study of a traditional discipline with
a range of additional vocations:
- Acoustics

- Aviation / Pilot Studies
- Space Technology
- Study in North America
- Access to Science & Engineering
All programmes have professional accreditation with the Institute of Physics and the
department is well equipped with an extensive range of specialist laboratories. All academic
staff are research active and there is a strong culture of innovation and application.
