D'Youville College is a small, intimate campus with approximately 1900 full and part time students. It is named for Saint Marguerite D'Youville, foundress of the Grey Nuns, the order that started the college in the early 1900s.
Today, D'Youville is a fully independent, four year, co-educational college governed by a lay board of trustees. The college is accredited by The Middle States Association, the National League of Nursing, and other appropriate accrediting agencies. D'Youville was chartered by New York State in 1908. The college is located in Buffalo, New York in the western part of New York State and 20 minutes from the beautiful Niagara Falls.
We are on the border with Canada, 90 minutes from cosmopolitan Toronto and within easy driving distance of Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse. The Buffalo-Niagara Airport serves the major airlines and is minutes from the campus.
