business, financial, industrial andcultural heart of Wisconsin. The
city’s miles of lakefront beaches and
trails create a great environment for
beach-going, jogging, rollerblading,
bicycling and ice skating and crosscountry
skiing in the winter. Arts,
sports and cultural festivals are held year-round. UWM is located in a
quiet, safe and attractive residential
area within walking distance of
Lake Michigan and public parks.
Although metropolitan, Milwaukee’s
community makes it feel like a small
town.
