St. George’s University Degree Programmes

School of Medicine
Students entering St. George’s University School of Medicine may choose to enroll in four- to seven-year programmes leading to the Doctor of Medicine degree, depending on academic qualifications. Medical students can advance their knowledge in specific areas of medical study with dual degree programmes in public health, research, and business administration.

With 1,100 faculty members and over 8,000 medical graduates practis ing in over 45 countries around the world, St. George’s University encourages students to learn with a global perspective. St. George’s University successfully places 98% of its eligible US graduates into residencies. Medical graduates match in the most sought-after residencies, including surgery, radiology, orthopedics, neurology, and emergency medicine.

School of Veterinary Medicine
The St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine includes the  preveterinary medical programme and the veterinary medical programme, which includes the four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, accommodating students from various systems of education. For clinical studies, the programme is affiliated with two of the seven veterinary schools in the United Kingdom, 23 of the 28 veterinary schools in the United States, as well as schools in Canada, Ireland, and Australia.

SGU – Student Support
St. George’s University has the largest and most committed student support services department of any school in the region. In fact, more St. George’s staff members are devoted to student support services than many other schools have faculty.

The Department of Educational Services helps students adapt learning styles to various teaching methods with course tutorials, personal evaluations and seminars in time management, study skills, and note-taking.

Overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the True Blue campus houses nearly 1,600 St. George’s University students. This $250+ million state-of-the-art academic community has recently seen the construction of more than 50 new buildings, including a library, anatomy labs, dormitories, lecture halls, and a research institute.
