St. Clair College, the fastest growing college in Ontario, offers 4 campuses located in “Canada South”, with a selection of more than 90 diploma, degree and post graduate certificate opportunities that lead students to hundreds of career paths. From business, technology and media, art and design, to health sciences, engineering technology and skilled trades, and community studies, St. Clair delivers relevant, focused knowledge and skills training that help people achieve their career goals.
South Campus, located in Windsor, is home to more than 8,500 students. There is a large residence right on campus, along with a new Centre for Construction Innovation & Production which opened in September 2009 and provides training for people interested in careers in the skilled trades.
The Ford Centre for Excellence in Manufacturing is the College’s premier teaching facility for students interested in a career in manufacturing and engineering technology.
St. Clair has also expanded into downtown Windsor with two campuses available for students. The St. Clair College Centre for the Arts is the perfect venue for students wanting an education in media, art and design. It boasts a spectacular riverfront view and is home to the Chrysler Theatre, a 1,200 seat professional theatre.
Around the corner is the new state-of-the-art “MediaPlex” which opened in September 2010. It is home to the college’s “Convergence” Journalism program and is complete with large TV studio, editing suites, recording studios and classrooms.
Chatham, just 45 minutes northeast of Windsor, is home to Thames Campus where 1,000 students enjoy a diversity of programs in the manufacturing, human services, health sciences and business area of study. This campus saw a new residence open in September 2008 and their new 53,000 sq. ft. HealthPlex facility will be open in 2011 – a complex that will provide students with a double gym, large fitness centre, running track and classroom space.
Also opening in 2011 on this campus will be a new Trades & Technology building featuring skilled trades and renewable energy programs.
International Student Scholarships
St. Clair College recognizes that scholarships represent a very important concern for international students. St. Clair has therefore introduced three innovative scholarship opportunities:
- UNIVERSAL ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP - $1,000 to be awarded to all newly enrolled students in post secondary programs. $500 tuition reimbursements following 1st and 3rd semesters
- CAMPUS CARE SCHOLARSHIPS - $3,000 in total to be awarded at $500 each to top academic students from Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, USA, Africa, and the Middle East
- STUDENT COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP - $1,000 to one outstanding international student based on financial need, academic standing and demonstrated extracurricular
