The University of South Carolina Upstate is a coeducational, public, comprehensive metropolitan institution located in Spartanburg, South Carolina along the thriving economic corridor between the large urban centers of Charlotte, North Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia. The region is also known for a large international presence in the business community.

USC Upstate is home to over 5,400 students from 38 states and 71 nations.
