The Tokyo School of the Japanese Language (also known
as Naganuma School) has been entrusted by various organizations
and institutions, both at home and abroad, with the
Japanese language training of their members and participants.
Our mission is to provide quality Japanese language
instruction to all people who need to use Japanese as
their medium of communication.
At
Naganuma, literally dozens of countries are represented,
including China, Korea, America, Germany, Britain, and
France. Students come from literally every part of the
globe--Asia, North and South America, Europe, Oceania,
and Africa--to give the school a truly international flavor.
With such a diverse student body and a large corps of
teachers, many of whom work only at Naganuma, the school
is able to maintain a high level of quality in the education
it gives people.
Japanese language teaching was first largely required
for missionaries working in Japan. Today, instruction
is carried out for a wide variety of reasons, including
academic study, business and for the promotion of international
and intercultural understanding in general.
Responding to the various motives for learning and
levels for participants, Naganuma has developed special
programs in addition to traditional regular courses.
The ETP course is one of our successful programs which
we took the initiative to start in 1979. It is intended
to be effective for businesspeople who want to quickly
acquire a good command of Japanese.
Language is always the first step to opening a new
world, to widen one's professional
edge and to gain practical insights into Japan.
