Founded in 1965, Medicine Hat College (MHC) offers a comprehensive selection of university transfer, degree, diploma and certificate programs. 

The 45-hectare main campus is located in Medicine Hat.  The city, with a population of approximately 52,000, is situated 250 kilometres southeast of Calgary. The downtown core is lined with historic gas-powered lamps.  Local golf courses, a new recreation centre and the art gallery and museum provide some of the city’s leisure opportunities. Medicine Hat has more than 100 parks and 80 kilometres of trails for walking, biking and winter cross-country skiing. 

Over the last 38 years, Medicine Hat College has grown in facility and capability to offer a wide range of programs to meet the needs of nearly 3,000 students per year.
