Cholula, Puebla

The city of Puebla is locates in the centre of Mexico, only, I hour and 15 minutes away from Mexico City, 2 and a half hours from Veracruz, and 5 hours from Acapulco. Our Campus is located in Cholula, considered the oldest inhabited city of the new world. Cholula is also a very important archaeological site, which stands 7200 feet above sea level in a valley surrounded by mountains, with a temperate and sunny climate. Puebla city (5 minutes away from Cholula) was founded in 1531 and has recently been designated by UNESCO as a treasure of colonial architecture Puebla is also the 5th largest Mexican city.

The Universidad De Las Américas, Puebla has a fifty year old tradition of an excellent level of academic teaching in Mexico and Abroad. The University has also been accredited by the southern Association for Colleges and Schools (SACS) since 1959.
The UDLA, Puebla consists of 5 Academic Schools:
The School of Engineering (8 majors, 7 masters and 1 Ph.d)
The Schools of Business (5 majors and 5 masters)
The School of Social Science (9 majors, 6 masters and 1 Ph.d)
The School of Humanities (9 majors and 3 masters)
The School of Sciences (7 majors and 2 masters)

Facilities on our Campus:
Library: (500 00 volumes, 1700 Professional journals + electronic access to thousands of libraries around the world)
Sports Facilities: (2 gyms, 7 tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, 1 squash court, 5 soccer fields, 3 American football fields, 1 base ball field, 1 soft ball field, 3 basket ball and volley ball fields, 1 fast soccer field, 2 weightlifting rooms and 2 aerobics rooms).
Laboratories: State-of-the-art labs in: engineering (Mechanical, electrical, chemical, Industrial, Computer Systems and Food). Hotel and Restaurant Management, Sciences, Archaeology, Language and Graphic Designs + 4 Computer labs opened 24 hours to UDLA Students.
Residential Colleges: The residential Colleges are one of the several housing options offered at UDLA, Puebla with a capacity to accommodate up to 1800 students.

International Students
UDLA offers a wide range of courses from all specialties taught in English. UDLA Puebla also offers specially designed courses for international students interested in learning Spanish and the Mexican culture via immersion programs, advanced seminars or private tutorials.
