JTIS is located in the quiet suburbs of Tokyo and is within easy reach of central Tokyo.

Our students take advantage of accommodation located close to the school and enjoy excellent support services, which promote a calm and relaxed atmosphere in which to study.

At JTIS students learn Japanese both directly in the classroom and in directly in the classroom and indirectly as they are constantly immersed in Japanese life and Japanese culture.

At JTIS our aim is for every student to be speaking Japanese freely in everyday conversation after only three months of study. This is partly due to the small class sizes of between 8-15 students and also our experienced and dedicated staff.
