Our hospitality programmes are sandwich style courses and offer a guaranteed 12-month paid work placement in the hospitality industry in the UK. In reality, this means you earn as soon as you graduate.

Our English language courses are designed to give you every opportunity to practise the language. We also incorporate cultural and social activities, which aim to immerse you in an English-speaking environment.

The college has a library and resource centre and is fully equipped with computers with Internet access facilities. Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced and use innovative methods to ensure their classrooms are active hubs of information exchange and debate.

Highgate Academy is a small, private college and we want to keep it that way, so that students get a personalised teaching approach. Teachers at Highgate get to know students as individuals and develop programmes around their personal needs.

Highgate Academy is a boarding school and our students are provided with high standard accommodation whilst undertaking their campus-based studies. This accommodation is self-catering and normally on a twin-room basis. Those on short courses or under the age of 18 are placed in Home Stay accommodation. All accommodation is within easy reach of the college.

Students come to Highgate Academy from all over the world. They are from different social and ethnic backgrounds and are of all ages. This multi-cultural mix gives the college its identity and rich vibrancy, making it a cosmopolitan centre of learning excellence and social interaction
