Columbia College Hollywood

Columbia College Hollywood

Established in 1952, Columbia College Hollywood is an accredited institution offering Bachelor of Arts and Associate of Arts degrees in cinema/television production. Students obtain hands-on training in directing, cinematography, producing, screenwriting, editing, and more, all in a 4-year program geared toward the production of a portfolio of short films that will showcase each student's skills and vision as a filmmaker.

With most of their classes scheduled in the afternoons and evenings, Columbia students have the option of working while they attend school.  Student-teacher ratios as low as 8:1 provide personalized attention and support from an outstanding faculty, most of whom are working industry professionals.  For-credit internships with studios, networks and independent production companies are encouraged, and the newly remodeled 65,000 square foot campus features a soundstage, two standing sets, two theaters, digital lab with editing suites.  The college is developing a new media center and soundstage.
