At Centenary College
Tradition,
success and excellence are the core trilogy of values
that enable Centenary College of New Jersey to offer
students from abroad the opportunity to experience the
best of American higher education.
Our formula for success is founded on a reputation of
135-years of educational excellence enhanced with:
- A secure, small town setting
- Average 15 students per class
These cornerstones provide opportunities for interaction
within a vital, welcoming community as well as with
members of a highly accomplished faculty.
Ranked among the safest campuses in the Greater New
York Metropolitan area, our picturesque 42-acre setting
in Northwestern New Jersey is just 90 minutes from the
cultural epicenter of New York City and within two hours
of Philadelphia. Washington D.C., the nation's capital
and historic Boston, Massachusetts are each just five
hours away.
A wide range of professional programs of study are
integrated with a solid liberal arts foundation and
a student body that is reflective of an increasingly
interconnected global society.
Students from more than 35 countries come to Centenary
College to realize the benefits of an institution devoted
to the tradition of academic excellence and social responsibility.
Of course, tradition is no excuse for getting stuck
in the past. That's why we've recently begun construction
of a $5 million technology center and we are poised
for continued growth with the newly opened Engelhard
Corporation International Studies Center as well as
the planned expansion of our athletic/recreational facilities.
Our academic majors are as diverse as the interests
of our students and include20 Bachelor's and 5 Associate's
Degree
programs with 28 concentrations and 8 Graduate Programs
including an MBA. Some of the more popular majors with
undergraduate students are:
- Graphic Design and Multi-Media Arts
- Business Administration
- Computer Information Systems
- Equine Studies
- Fashion Design
Students also have access to the acclaimed radio station
WNTI-FM (a National Public Radio affiliate) along with
a new, state of the art television studio.
