LOCATION:
- Baylor University is located in Waco, Texas, a mid-size city located in central Texas. Baylor attracts students from all 50 states and more than 80 countries around the world. Baylor is centrally located to many of Texas’ largest cities. We are just an hour and a half from Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin, and approximately three hours from San Antonio and Houston.
- Baylor’s campus sits on 750 acres full of trees, green spaces and beautiful buildings. Our campus is also in walking distance to Cameron Park, a 416-acre park that is one of the largest municipal parks in the country. Its beautiful bluffs and the lush wooded areas sit on the Brazos River, the longest river in Texas.
- Waco has a regional airport is in driving distance from both Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Austin Bergstrom Airport with shuttle service available to and from both airports.
- Waco’s mean temperature is 67 degrees Fahrenheit and though our summers are hot we maintain a winter low temperature of about 34 degrees Celsius. Waco’s climate is perfect for year-round outdoor activities.
- Baylor’s dorms are within walking distance from classes. There is also a campus bus system with routes around campus and the surrounding area. Friendly Baylor students are often willing to drive other students without cars to places around town.

- Baylor is consistently ranked in the top 100 national doctoral-granting universities in “America’s Best Colleges” by U.S. News & World Report.
- Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business ranks among the top 25 private undergraduate business school programs in the United States
