Aston Business School is one of the largest and most successful business schools in Europe. Our outstanding reputation is reflected in our consistently high league table positions. Business at Aston has featured in the top 10 ranking in The Times for 7 out of the last 8 years. We are amongst just 1% of business schools worldwide to have achieved accreditation from three independent international business authorities - EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA and we are ranked 9th in the UK for the quality of our research.
Our undergraduate courses have one simple aim – to get students ready for a life in the forefront of business. To this end, our curriculum is robust, relevant and rooted in the real world. A deep understanding of the needs of business, combined with a thorough, practical approach, mean that our graduates are able to contribute from the moment they start their first job.
Great Future
Aston Business School offers a wide range of business related undergraduate degree programmes from specialist to broad based degrees and an LLB Law degree. Degrees covering subjects such as Business and Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources (HR), Economics, International Business, Business IT and Consultancy equip students with the specialist skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen field.
All degrees offer an optional integrated placement year which provides paid graduate level work experience and equips students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in graduate level careers. This is demonstrated by our consistently high levels of graduate employment with nearly 90% of our students in graduate-level jobs six months after finishing their degree. We are proud that a third of our graduates are offered employment at their placement companies.
International students can be assured of a high level of support while they study with us. Students can access English Language support throughout their studies and they also have access to welfare and health services as well as careers advice and learning support services.
Great Campus
The Aston University campus is close knit, safe and friendly. All international students placing us as their first choice institution are guaranteed on-campus accommodation throughout the duration of their studies. The campus has all the facilities you will need for student living. There are many societies and clubs where you can share interests and make friends along with the opportunity to set up your own special interest group. There are students from over 100 different nations currently studying at Aston and we have the expertise and experience to ensure that our international students have a first-class educational experience.
Great Location
Birmingham is the UK’s second city and one of its most cosmopolitan. Birmingham’s central location makes it a good base from which to explore the rest of the UK as London, Manchester and Cardiff are all within easy travelling distance. Our students enjoy an enviable lifestyle, situated close to the city centre with easy access to shops, restaurants other city centre amenities. Birmingham offers many cultural attractions including museums, art galleries, ballet, classical music, cinemas and theatres. Birmingham is home to two premiership football teams as well as a first-class cricket test venue.
